🏆 Mazda Cx 5 2.2 Diesel Engine Problems

I bought my CX5 back in December 3yrs old with 30k miles on it. Its an auto AWD with the 2.2 diesel. After 4000 worry-free miles I was an hour into a journey on the A34 and the Oil pressure warning message popped up saying 'possible engine damage ..' so I was naturally concerned. I called my local Mazda dealer in Oxford as the car was still No. The CX-5 Facebook group I'm on has quite a few members that are onto their third or even fourth diesel engine in about 200,000km. The problem here is that Mazda aren't actually doing anything in particular to rectify the problem, it's just band-aid solutions. The late model diesels are even having oil dilution problems now and Mazda's The CX-5 has performed exceptionally well with no issues at all in the 3 years of ownership. Good points: 1 Rdes quite well on 17" wheels which are happy to bump into kerbs with no scrapes! 2 It is quiet (with no rattles or squeaks) 3 It has really good build quality. 4. The interior feels quite upmarket. 5. The base CX-5 is powered by a 187-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that has a good amount of power for most driving situations. A turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is newly available for 2019. This engine is more powerful and helps the CX-5 accelerate a lot quicker. It produces 227 horsepower with regular gasoline and 250 8HinRR.
